You can make a claim with us easily online using Bingle Self Service. The process should take around 10 minutes, and we’ll ask you to give us:
- details of what happened and where, and
- details of anyone else involved, including other drivers, property owners and witnesses.
Once you get started with the process, you’ll be given the option to claim through Bingle or the other party’s insurer. If you believe you’re not at fault, you may want to consider claiming through the other party’s insurer.
Once you’ve completed the claim process, you’ll need to pay the upfront excess that we require all customers to pay before we can put your claim through. If we determine that you’re not at fault in the accident, we’ll then refund the excess back to you. Otherwise, your claim will be a ‘Report’ and our claims team will be in touch with you to see if you’d like to take the claim further.
How to book your repairer
After you’ve successfully paid your excess, you can book in your repairs:
- We’ll ask you a few questions so we can get a better idea of the damage.
- Enter your suburb and select one of our authorised repairers from the list.
The first repairer on the list will be the repairer with the first available booking. You’ll then receive a confirmation of your booking details, and, if you’ve purchased our Keep Mobile as an Optional Extra with your policy, you’ll sort those details on the confirmation page too.
