If your car has been deemed as a total loss and we didn’t settle your claim under the ‘New for Old’ option, we’ll settle your claim by making a total loss payment.
We’ll take ownership of your car and we’re entitled to any salvage value it has, unless your credit provider has those entitlements.
You may have the opportunity to purchase the salvage. This will need to be discussed with your assessor when your vehicle is deemed a total loss or write-off.
