Meet Buddy, Bingle's very own virtual assistant
Here at Bingle, we like to keep things simple. That’s why we’ve created our chatbot, Buddy, to help make buying, updating, and managing your policy simpler. Buddy can:
- Give you step by step instructions for tasks like updating your policy, claiming, understanding excesses, and renewing or cancelling your policy
- Suggest solutions to issues you’re having with Bingle Self Service
- Answer your general cover-related questions and try to direct you to the most relevant page on the Bingle website, and
- Recognise when they can’t understand a question and direct you to our Help Centre.
How Buddy learns
Buddy learns on the job with every conversation. So, even if Buddy can’t completely answer your question now, they may be able to soon. The artificial intelligence that powers Buddy is designed to constantly improve.
There are a few things Buddy can’t do:
- Offer financial advice. Think of Buddy as like a digital concierge – they can point you in the right direction and offer factual information.
- Answer specific insurance cover-related questions. Buddy can, however, direct you towards the policy document, page, or article with the most reliable information.
- Process payments, claims and quotes. But Buddy can show you where you can do that.
- Pass on your contact information and personal details.
